The best way to prove whether one has the condition is by the use of x-ray examinations.

Treatment of this condition is not very common and in most cases the patients do not even need treatment, however sometimes braces and wheelchairs are used. Basically this is one of the complications that are not very easy to prevent because nobody knows the exact cause. In most cases there is not much you can do about this condition but to try and cope with it and learn to live with it. The key to managing the condition is to try and seek professional care and advice on what you need to do and how you need to live with the condition.
