Polymyalgia rheumatic often referred to as PMR is a condition most commonly found in adults which results in the stiffness of the body and widespread aching. Polymyalgia rheumatic is mostly detected through blood tests where inflammation appears to be excessively high. Tests like ‘sed rate’ or C-reactive protein are some of the tests conducted to diagnose polymyalgia rheumatic. With low doses of corticosteroids the pain of polymyalgia rheumatic can be relieved.
