The cultures of bacteria in yoghurt are easier to digest than milk for people suffering from lactose intolerance. The two week plan of Yoplait Diet is as follows:
You are advised to consume 1 Yoplait Light, a 6 oz cup for Breakfast and Lunch. Yoplait Light is available in different delicious flavours and once can choose from a variety of 33 such flavours. Also include a cup of oats or multigrain Cheerios, one fruit serving. Choose a small or medium piece of fruit or 3/4th cup of cut fruit. For snacks one must include vegetable servings as much as possible. Vegetables help provide plenty of minerals and vitamins. Leafy vegetables help provide the much needed fibre which is essential for cleansing the bowels. Include a serving of 1 cup of raw vegetables or ½ a cup of cooked vegetables. Vegetables like potatoes, yams, corn must be avoided.
Dinner of a Yoplait Diet can include 6 lean Protein servings of 1 oz each. Lean proteins may be in the form of chicken breast or lean pork ham. Lean portions are free from fat and provide proteins to the body which are an important constituent of muscle mass. Dinner must include 2 vegetable servings.
Fats used in order to cook food must be as less as possible. Small amounts of oils, butter must be used. 1 tsp of oil or butter or 1 Tbsp salad dressing is advised.
Dairy products must non fat products as far as possible. 3 servings of such dairy products per day are advisable. Milk if consumed should be skimmed. This can be consumed throughout the day with breakfast or lunch, snacks or dinner.
Beverages must be avoided or non caloric ones must be used. Most beverages contain high amounts of sugar which adds up to the daily caloric intake. When thirsty, one can consume water with or without lemon or skimmed milk or un-sweetened iced tea.
In addition to the above mentioned Yoplait diet plan, exercise is imperative. Exercises like walking, swimming, cycling, jogging can be done. One must exercise regularly for a period of 30 to 40 minutes a day.
