CNA Practice Test
A proof of certification or a license is required for a certified nursing assistant to work in any medical institution. After completing the training in a qualified institution, the student is expected to pass the qualifying exam to fulfill the necessary document the state requires. He or she has to be certified before rendering health care services. Most places that offer training also provide CNA practice test. This is to prepare a student for the final exam. Programs and refresher courses are scheduled before the exam takes place. Although, most topics must have been covered during the training, preparation is needed since the CNA practice test is just as complicated and demanding as the actual exam itself. In most cases, students were asked to perform in pairs to demonstrate the techniques and approaches they have learned during the training. The exam is administered either by a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or by a Registered Nurse (RN).
The care giver who has enrolled in a Certified Nursing Assistant program is called a certified nurse assistant. He or she is a member of the health care industry. The care giver job is different from a Registered Nurse (RN). A certified nurse assistant works under the RN or LPN supervision. Its role is vital to the health care team as it provides a link between the registered nurse and the patient. These roles or tasks include comforting, listening, bathing, dressing, taking vital signs, feeding, toileting and other activities that concern the patient. A nurse aide can work and provide health care services in nursing homes, hospitals, hospices, adult day care facilities, and home care.
Many students who are looking to start a career in Nursing may choose nursing assistant course. The student usually receives free enrollment and avail scholarship program from the accredited schools.
